There is an interesting news clip I heard about 2 years ago while Toronto was struggling with the SARS epidemic that I would like to relay to make a very important point.During the epidemic there was nurse at one of our hospitals here in Toronto who succumbed to the virus and later died. What was interesting about this case was that she was a) one of the first to die form SARS and b) it was later reported that she had a terrible fear of contracting it well before it even was recognized as a significant problem.
So I ask you, are those two pieces of information in any way related to each other?.Well it has been my experience, and likely yours as well if you are aware of it, that when one has a fear that something bad will happen to them it creates the opportunity for it to occur. In other words the individual will, in that fearful state attract to them in some "mysterious' fashion the very thing they fear.
Why is that? Well it occurs for several reasons which are as follows:.1. The fear, you see, is based on an underlying belief that the outcome is possible and probable.
Otherwise there would be no fear i.e. you won't fear something that you "believe" is not going to happen.2.
The mind has a powerful capacity to create whatever it holds inside of it either consciously or unconsciously. In fact that is what the mind was actually meant for. Most have forgotten this fact.
Instead the mind is now used as a storehouse for facts, memories and so on which only obfuscates its true purpose.3. The mind is inextricably connected to time and space through what many refer to as a matrix of consciousness. ESP, clairvoyance, mind over matter experiences etc. are a testament to this fact. Unfortunately, as I said, much of this gets dismissed in a society that reveres only the logically thinking "linear" mind.
So if you are feeling that what has been said in some way resonates with you at a deeper level then simply notice it and admit it to yourself. Now if you're with me so far you'll begin to appreciate how enslaved many of us are here by the endless stream of uncontrollable thoughts and emotions that run through our consciousness every minute. This can make one feel truly trapped, paralyzed and frustrated.
Most here tend to distract themselves from this awareness and thereby succumb to it without even knowing it.In order to reclaim control over your emotions, your mind and therefore your life it becomes necessary to become fully conscious of what lurks within the mind and body and release it completely. If you are game for this journey kindly visit the web link below.
